Excellent Service . Value for your Money
I had stayed in hotel for 5 night. The hotel room service was excellent. The hotel is near to DG sharef Metro Station which is big plus point. The stay was pleasant and enjoyable experience.

(+) Very friendly staff and the necessary room amenities are there

The cold water temperature is still hot even if left running for several minutes.
TV's position could be better if it faces the bed a bit. (Standard Room)

most of the thing were good

The stay that never was
The Golden Tulip Al Barsha Dubai was the biggest and most disappointing hitch during our trip to Dubai. Upon arrival, after a 13 hour flight, our taxi dropped us off, only for us to discover that they had lost our reservations. We stood in the lobby for over half an hour, waiting for service and someone to help find a solution. As it was a four day weekend, they and almost every other hotel in the emirate were booked. If not for my daughter's calling over 10 other hotels and finally finding a room for our 8 day stay, we would have been left to sleep on the street. A very disappointing experience. noisy AC
I found the air conditioner in the hotel room far too noisy. I couldn't relax or sleep
When I called housekeeping to see if they could do anything, they could not, except to turn it off, which made the room too hot.

Business visitor
I have used the hotel for the last two years for the trade fair. The hotel is good value for money, excellent rooms and a good gym, as well as a sports bar.I stayed with some customers of mine, and some of the bills for meals were mixed up at the sports bar. Also, I think the sports bar could be better organized to concentrate on those who want to watch sport and those who want to listen to music.
There was some confusion about the bus to the fair also, in the end we had to get the metro. I have used the hotel for the last two years for the trade fair. Noisy and smelly
I emailed the hotel well in advance of my stay explaining I suffered from a sound sensitivity syndrome and usually rooms on the top floor are quieter and I received a response saying that I would be put there. Upon check-in, I had to wait 20 mins for a room, not on the top floor as promised but on the 4th floor but it stank disgusting and wasn't what I had been promised. Later in the day I was moved to the 6th (top) floor but it was horrendously noisy due to the central a/c system. I asked to be moved again and was given a room on the 2nd floor directly above the very loud bar so eventually got a 5th floor room which again smelled so bad, it made you wretch. The Locker Room music is far too loud, and is full of prostitutes.
